Auburn football put together a better performance against New Mexico than it did against Cal in Week 2, winning 45-19 and introducing new starting quarterback Hank Brown.

While Auburn's defense raised some concerns in victory, the Tigers offense hummed all night long behind Hank Brown. The Nashville, Tennessee native was decisive, accurate, and lethal on his way to 235 passing yards and a quartet of touchdowns.

Auburn did not have its best defensive showing against New Mexico and head coach Hugh Freeze didn’t hesitate to point it out.
