The Minnesota Wild added an aging All-Star in a trade with the Detroit Red Wings on Monday. The Wild swapped future considerations for 33-year-old Vladimir Tarasenko, the team announced.

About an hour after the trade, the Red Wings announced that they extended restricted free agent Albert Johansson on a new two-year contract with a $1.125 million average annual value. Later in the day, they announced they also extended RFA forward Jonatan Berggren to a one-year deal worth $1.825 million.
