The Chicago Sky have had a difficult 2025 season, falling to 5-12 with an 80-75 loss to the Minnesota Lynx on Sunday night. That loss was particularly frustrating as they led 24-10 after the first quarter, but then watched as the league's top team steadily closed that gap, taking the lead early in the fourth quarter and never giving it back.

The Chicago Sky entered Sunday’s matchup against the Minnesota Lynx with a 5–11 record. While they didn’t leave Minnesota with a win, they put together one of their most complete performances of the season against a Lynx team that now holds a league-best 17–2 record.

Fresh off of being named to her second straight All-Star Game, Chicago Sky star Angel Reese did her best to keep up with MVP frontrunner Napheesa Collier of the Minnesota Lynx.
