At the time, the fast-food giant's corporate team wanted to speed up back-of-house operations and felt that the time it took employees to assemble the chicken, lettuce, shredded cheddar and Monterrey cheese and choice of customer sauce in a tortilla wrap could be better redirected to a simpler menu of classics.

After nearly a decade of petitions, tweets, and pure internet begging, McDonald’s Snack Wraps are officially returning to U.S. menus—starting Thursday at 10:30 a.m.

The Ranch Snack Wrap and Spicy Snack Wrap both hit thousands of McDonald's stores in July 2025.
