Safety Louis Moore was an Ole Miss Rebel for one season, and he is now reportedly going back to his pre-Oxford program out of the transfer portal. Reports from 247Sports indicated on Saturday that Moore is transferring back to join the Indiana Hoosiers, a program he spent two seasons with before coming to Oxford.

Moore was one of IU's top defensive playmakers for Allen back in 2023 when he tied for the team-lead with three interceptions and three forced fumbles. He was also second on the team with 82 tackles (58 solo) behind linebacker Aaron Casey.

BLOOMINGTON — Indiana football is signing Ole Miss safety Louis Moore out of the transfer portal, according to multiple reports. Moore previously played for the Hoosiers from 2022-23 and entered the transfer portal after the school parted ways with former coach Tom Allen. He played all 24 games (10 starts) during his first stint with the team.

After transferring away from Indiana football last offseason to play at the University of Mississippi, Louis Moore will return to Indiana. The safety signed with the Hoosiers, according to On3 Sports’ Pete Nakos’ X post Saturday.
