The Iowa State basketball team is 17-3 overall and 7-2 in the Big 12 Conference entering Saturday's home game against Kansas State. The Cyclones are coming off a heartbreaking overtime loss at Arizona on Monday night, in which the Wildcats hit a halfcourt shot at the end of regulation to tie the game before winning in the extra period.

Kansas has lost three straight games at Iowa State’s Hilton Coliseum for the first time in the 22-year Bill Self era.

This is a clash between an elite Kansas Jayhawks defense and a high-powered Iowa State Cyclones offense that averages 86.2 points per game. That said, Iowa State is excellent on the other end of the floor as well and is 10th in the country in adjusted defensive efficiency, just six spots behind Kansas.
