The Pacers got an important piece of business done just before the onset of the 2025-26 NBA season.

At 9:47 a.m., an Indiana State Police officer allegedly clocked Jones driving at about 90 mph and in an "erratic" way on southbound I-65 near the north split. Jones failed to immediately pull over, according to police, and drove for a few minutes before pulling over near the Fletcher Avenue exit near Fountain Square in Indianapolis.
