The helicopter crashed on a vacant lot across from the Hartford Fire Department. Firefighters from Hartford, South Roxana, Roxana, and Wood River were called to the crash site.

HARTFORD — Air Methods, a Colorado-based company that operates ARCH Air Medical Services, provided an update Tuesday on the helicopter crash that occurred Thursday in Hartford, Illinois.

The occupants were with ARCH Crew 1 out of Granite City, Air Methods said. They were taken to a hospital for evaluation.
