The 49th edition of the nation's largest July 4th celebration in New York City fired over 80,000 shells in 30 vibrant colors and used projection mapping to light up the Brooklyn Bridge.

Macy’s 47th fireworks lit up NYC on the 249th July 4th with a dazzling show over the Brooklyn Bridge. The iconic event reportedly cost around $6 million.

The Macy’s celebration, replete with 80,000 firework shells and 11 new pyrotechnic effects, returns to the East River after heading over to the Hudson in 2024.
