In an interview with Classic Rock, Rush revealed their major regret while on their farewell tour 10 years ago, the R40 Live Tour. Surviving band members Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson wished they performed for fans in the U.

Alex Lifeson recalled that Rush had come close to extending their farewell tour, which had been limited on drummer Neil Peart’s insistence, in January 2025.

Rush played their last shows almost a decade ago, but bassist Geddy Lee and guitarist Alex Lifeson regret that their final tour didn't go further.
