Former Chicago Bears head coach Matt Eberflus is reportedly "involved" in the Cincinnati Bengals' defensive coordinator search, per ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.

The Enquirer's Kelsey Conway reported Friday that the Bengals' search is still ongoing and the team has yet to make a decision on the hire. Anarumo was fired earlier this week after six seasons with Cincinnati.

The Cincinnati Bengals are focused on the upcoming season, and one of their first steps is to find a new defensive coordinator to improve one of the team's weak spots. One of the potential candidates is a former head coach who was fired in November.
