We went to the gift store and found the prices for the merchandise quite high. The quality of the materials is not what I would have expected for the price. The washrooms were large and clean. Full review by JCM1959

We stopped in here while in town and are so glad we did. Ax US citizens, we really didn’t know much about the RCMP except their uniforms we’ve seen on tv. We had no idea of the community policing sta… Full review by Allison R

We are coming for our grandsons graduation June 10,11,12 and are wondering what are the closest hotels to stay at? We are flying in and will have to rent a car, but would still like to be close to the Heritage Center. Thank you for any help, for a couple of old crocks.

We have stayed at two locations in Regina. Our son graduated from the RCMP in February and we stayed at The Residence by Mariott. We loved it there. It's the closest hotel to the Depot. We also stayed at Home Inn which is a little further away but still pretty close and a very nice hotel. We preferred the Residence. We rented a vehicle from the airport. They have three places and I believe they are all very close in price. Also, you are going to thoroughly enjoy your grandsons graduation celebration! It is by far the most enjoyable experience I have ever been a part of. You will be very proud of all his accomplishments and know that he has been very well trained. Enjoy every minute of it. It's a lot to take in but do it all and you won't regret it. Congratulations to you, your grandson and all of his family....such an emotionally charged proud time for all of you! Hope this has helped you.

You are welcome to walk every portion of the grounds (parade square, Drill Hall, Chapel, Regimental Cemetery, stables, campground and most roads in between for free. Most buildings and all dorms are restricted access (unless escorted) so the likelihood of getting into the Academic building, firearms unit, mess hall, medical center, driver training unit, gym, pool & self defense areas is pretty slim to nil. The Trading Post Gift Shop located on the second floor of 'C' Block (next to Chapel) is open to the public.

Q:
How much time would you suggest we plan to spend at the Heritage Centre?
A:
We didn't have long enough. There is a video which is approximately 30 to 40 min. The exhibits I'd give at least 1hr or more depending how much you like history.
