I was in the area for 1 day with my family. It was great. But it seems to me that asking your visitors, who have already commented on your attraction, is not the answer. 1. Who was no.1 and why? 2. Who makes the decision as to who is no.1 or no.2 or no.3 in an area. 3. What are the specific criteria that elevates 1 attraction over another? Was it for example you had 23000 visitors giving it an average of 9.5 out of 10 and 'Seaworld' had 24500 but gave it 9.6 out of 10. Therefore 9.6 is better than 9.5 so you came second. Therefore the discussion follows that if you had more visitors your score could have been 9.62 and so you would be no.1 Maybe you lost out because 1 attraction had only 1 review of 10 out of 10. Remember the quote ' there are lies, damn lies and statistics'. I would be more worried about being only no.5. Do you get less money or what if you are no.2 and not no.1? Maybe it is just to remind us not to be complacent. Being no.1 means also that there is only 1 way to go and that is down. Doing your best, , giving customers a great experience is more important than praise from people. Why because people at times can be very fickle. I trust these comments help you find your answer.
Q:
Can I use or get a boat trip to skegness. It would be so much better the drive is awful.
A:
Unfortunately not! I know they were testing to see if this was viable but assume they decided it wasn't.
Q:
Is there an optimum time of day to do the tour to see the most seals or is it generally pot luck?
A:
They only go when the tide is right so you always see the seals there's about a dozen or so
Q:
Are dog's allowed on the boat trips?
A:
yes
