A great state park with a nice lake and a great set of trails to hike. A great place to head to get outdoors but also social distance. The bison exhibit adds some umiqueness to this park. Full review by DKPuck

The herd (7 bison right now, I think) are in a very large enclosure that you can walk all the way around, visible at all times. If they are laying down in the center, that would be maybe half football field away. No calves this spring which is unusual, fun to watch! Close to the bison is a newly renovated fire watch tower, built in 1930s? It is the only 1 or 2 of original 32 built in forested Indiana at that time. It is a small and quiet state park. A campground, a small lake. the dakotas have the huge herds.
