Quel Lido recommandez vous?

Merci…Je retiens le Stabilimento Balneare mais je me demande si ça vaut la peine d’aller à Mondello vu le niveau de propreté. Savez-vous si le Lido est ouvert à la mi-septembre ?

Depends what you want to do!! Mondello has some wonderful villas to rent and enjoy and beautiful access to the natural park and ancient cliffs of the mountains which shield the bay. Also these liberty villas are worth spending an afternoon sporting and imagining mondello in all its original Belgian elite glory - along with 18 hole golf course before the second world war - when the beach became a site for the allied American forces landing and subsequent base for the 'liberation' forces coming through North Africa and the Med. Temperature for sea bathing will be perfect for Northern Europeans and quiet. Key restaurants will be open and the two big hotels have good restaurant facilities open to non guests. Hotel Torre my suggestion for a very clean and brilliantly sited stay. Palermo itself is always on the go - you can access it by bus - or car - air BnB or the higher end hotels in the centre SO MUCH to see there !! Enjoy. Buy Julius Norwich's History of Sicily before departing!! However
