This was our 5th visit to Dry Falls. Each time is worth the drive to Highlands. There is a small parking fee of a few dollars and there is a public restroom available on the property. There is a ramp…Full review by BackyardTravels

GREAT waterfall views, PLUS you can walk behind the falls. There is an ADA viewing area, did this first. Easy pull off to Small-ish parking.Full review by tmail54

Dry falls can somewhat be seen from the road. But you might consider sliding rock pisgah bear Brevard might be viewable for your sister.

Dry Falls is just a short water fall that has a short walking path that goes underneath the falls. I don’t know how you wouldn’t be able to walk under it other than if the weather is absolutely terrible or if they’re fixing the path or something. I doubt that occurs often and I don’t think there’s anyone to ask other than maybe the Rangers in the area. It’s not a huge attraction or anything, but a nice easy water fall to experience that takes literally only 15 minutes round trip to walk, take photos and walk back.
