Hi Tim - the full day tour with the walk up to Hill Inlet will almost certainly be way too much for your wife - in Nv it was very warm so think December even more so If your budget stretched …

We will have two large suitcases with us - what happens to the suitcases -do they stay with us on board or are they put away somewhere? Is it too far to walk from the Peninsular Airlie Beach hotel to the port? Many thanks

If you are travelling to hamilton they will check your bags in at the port and store them somewhere onboard then when you get off at hamilton they will bring them off the boat and you …

The snorkel is in the group and it is very easy, you won't need many skills. It is done small coral reef few meters of the beach. If you are not confident you can get sousage floats that will keep you above water and there is crew with small boat looking over the snorklers. And if snorkeling is not for you they will take you on small boat with glass bottom and you can enjoy tha fish without getting wet.

I believe you can because the boat sailing to the pontoon stopped at the Hamilton Island. You can check with your hotel or any tour organiser which there are plenty of in Airly Beach.
